today i observed the cutest girl walking to work wearing a hat i, myself would wear but for the fact i saw someone else wear it first.
i asked her where it came from and she volunteered H&M three weeks ago. it was darling.
just watching her walk away with my hat lifted my spirits a tiny bit.
now yesterday, a woman wearing a bright fuschia raincoat with thigh high boots at eight in the morning is not going to work.... and the woman wearing the bowler hat and black net veil with bright red tartan was going somewhere else altogether. to crazy land!
it's one thing to show off your individuality in this town, but dont be a clown about it. no one is carrie bradshaw in real life. even she couldn't pay her bills.
